I just stumbled onto a useful free website which provides not only an xhtml and css quick reference guide, but actually allows you to see live previews of the finished results. What you have is three windows. The first lists the various html tags, the second shows you the proper use of the tag which you can quickly copy&paste into your own documents. The third window shows an example of how the code will look in a web page. It's proven an invaluable resource for a lazy guy like myself.
